Hear directly from the authors of a study on sporicidal efficacy of ultrasound probe high-level disinfection devices.

The study authors became aware of reports that some automated ultraviolet-C (UV-C) ultrasound probe high-level disinfection (HLD) devices were failing to achieve sporicidal efficacy during routine in-field validation (IFV) in Australian hospitals. 1

In response, the authors set out to test the sporicidal efficacy of three commercially available automated HLD devices for ultrasound probes, in clinical settings across Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) via a rigorous IFV process using biological indicators (BIs).1

Hear directly from first author David Bellamy as he presents an overview of the study.
